UCC Remote Dial-in
Getting Started Guide
With the below described remote dial-in procedure we enable you to access your SAP system with the SAP-GUI from outside the university network through internet service providers, which allocate dynamic IP addresses (Tiscali, Freenet, gmx, etc.).
If you have dialed-in to your provider, you will receive a dynamic IP address. This IP address is unknown to us and has to be activated.
Important: When you punctuate the connection and dial-in again, a new IP address will be assigned to you. This IP address in turn has to be activated in our systems.
After having confirmed the button "Start login", your user data will be requested. If the username and the password are correct, a new screen will be opened, showing the current IP-address assigned to you from the provider. Please check this IP-address and activate it with pressing the button "Activate IP". For detailed information check the user manual (click here).
